At a Wednesday night bible study, Croft, surrounded by members of the First Baptist Church of Lake Butler, prays for members of a committee charged with finding the church a new pastor. He said there is a difference between pastors and evangelists. "My role is to go in and share the gospel," he said, whereas pastors teach and nurture the congregation.
